Born and raised in Pakistan, Vicky is a multi-disciplinary storyteller and community builder. She uses stories to empower and teach through film, theatre, music, and writing. She created The Cheeni Chronicles as a creative project that documents her life as a first-generation Pakistani-born Chinese immigrant and a base for her personal creative works. She is also the Co-Founder and Director of OLOMOPOLO Media, a social, visual, media and performing arts platform and community safe space for artists and activists based in Lahore. Her first narrative short film, Separation has won over 50 awards in various film festivals around the world.

Many of her personal works revolve around working on empowerment, diversity and finding strength from within and from people’s own identities. She works with youths, encouraging them to use their voices to speak up about stories that matter to them. Her ultimate goal is to contribute to increasing kindness in this world by hearing everyone’s story.
